Demoscene

Well, the so called "demoscene" is very
significant part of the digital creation.
It is a community of young (?) people, who
have a common passion: they willing to create
is related with computers. It could be graphic,
music, digi-paint, code. ( and even more...)

There are specific genres, like the combination
of the mentioned branches. These are realtime
demonstrations, so called "demos", "intros"
and such...
.
They use hardware to get the best results for
realtime vizualization.

The spectacle of those things is captivating. They have a very unique style, kindness.
Indescribable what you feel until you are watching. It determined ones whole visual culture.

Like one said, it is a community. Since approximately 1983. People are making friends, and what is most
important, compete with each other. These "compos" are the highlights of the "parties".

Sceneparties are periodically
arranged events, in the
different points of the continent.
.
A lot of people used to visit
these events.
They release prods., what they
made especially for the party.
The whole thing takes 3 days.

Oh, i almost forget the most important! They form groups, small constructive fellowships. Mostly friends
who are accomplishing their ideas together, creating demos and other products.
The whole system has it's inner hierarchy. Actual fashions, trends, leading characters are following
eachother. It is exactly like a small society.

There is a group i belong to, called Exceed. It was formed in
'96 or so. Today we have some members, as you can see
below. We produced lot of releases during the years,
H7 is one of them.

The most important reason of this small article is that i
would like to offer you the scene as art, media and as the
source of inspiration. Thousands of demos and releases
are waiting for you.
